Using your
pliers, twist one end of the wire to form a
closed loop. String your beads from the
opposite end of the wire. To make the
pink towel holder that is pictured here, put a
heart bead as the first and last bead on your
wire. Use different colors and sizes of beads to
string onto the wire for a varied pattern that
can be repeated.
String the beads
until you have the desired length that
you want. After the last bead, use the
needle-nose pliers, twisting the wire to form
another closed loop. Cut off the excess wire and
you have now made a beaded towel holder.
Other Ideas
Use old necklaces, shells, buttons, jewelry
findings to make a different looking holder. You
can also make smaller versions and use them as
napkin rings. It is so easy to just wrap your
design around anything you want to decorate. You
can put them around candles, bottles or vases.
